Born on July 31
1990, 18 year old Kristen Danyal from Sterling Heights, Michigan
never imagined
to wear the crown of Miss Michigan Teen USA 2009. Kristen was
crowned Miss Michigan Teen USA 2009 on September 20, 2008 at
the McMorran Place in Port Huron, MI.Kristen already had her
next 5 years planned for her. Having recently graduated from
Utica High School, she got directly admitted into a 5-year
Physician Assistant program at the University of Detroit Mercy.
To her surprise, she will have to add in the job of being Miss
Michigan Teen USA 2009 to her plan. After graduating
from the program, she hopes to become a Physician’s Assistant
in dermatology. Kristen was also born “a natural” in
business and hopes to open her own business after graduating.
During her year, she will be busy appearing at events! She
is eager to start getting involved with doing what she can to
give back to the community. She is a member of CASA, Chaldean
American Student Association. It is a non-profit organization
while, at the same time, aims to promote education to the Chaldean
Community around the United States. Kristen is very involved
with her culture.
Kristen
sees herself as a humble and honest young woman who is open
to new things, motivated, and never gives
up. She believes
her strongest attribution is being able to give anyone effective
advice. She embraces on the idea of honesty is the best
policy.
Kristen jokes about believing she was born in a mall due to
her love of shopping. Some of her favorite things are being
with family, going to dinner, shopping, traveling, and being
on the water. She enjoys listening to 80’s music
the most, yet has a very eclectic taste in music.
Kristen feels very blessed to have won the title of MISS MICHIGAN
TEEN USA® 2009 and is eager to make a difference, travel
her state and county and represent Michigan in the 2009 MISS
TEEN USA® Pageant.
The Miss
Universe Organization, producers of the MISS UNIVERSE®,
MISS USA® and MISS TEEN USA® Pageants, is a Donald
J. Trump and NBC Universal partnership.. Miss Teen USA spends
her
year building relationships with organizations committed to
education and action, such as Best Buddies, Outside the Classroom,
Do Something,
Sparrow Clubs and D.A.R.E.
